- Work Life Balance Means Less Stress
Because stress is primarily about you (not circumstances, events or other people). Most of your stress relates to your choices and how you think.
By agreeing to take on more work when you don’t have the capacity or not delegating work that could be delegated, you’re creating more stress for yourself. Here are the choices that you could start making for yourself to relieve a lot of your stress and anxiety:
- Saying no to things that aren’t priorities.
- Delegating as much as can be delegated.
- Choosing to do things that are priorities (and letting go of non-priorities).
- Prioritizing your own wellbeing.

The human brain isn’t meant to feel stressed-out and under pressure all the time. Creating more balance in your life gives you breathing space to think, which allows your subconscious thoughts to bubble up to the surface. The importance of work-life balance has been addressed in your article using a range of examples. It is understandable when we have a workload to be completed at work, we are unable to enjoy our lives. Sometimes, work stress leads us to just sleep and have a good rest rather than socializing which is psychologically not good enough.

The study explains that individual factors such as age, gender and position may differ in responding to work-life balance. Further, the research shows that organizational factors such as working hours, salary, relationship with the supervisor and the work content should be measured for the work-life balance. Finally, the results showed that motivational factors have been influencing directly work-life balance and organizations should check to improve these factors effectively.
